2018 Sportsman 850 Spider removal

Changing out my 1 way bearing on primary clutch. only 470 miles, the bearing is covered in corrosion and seized up. Just checking to see if spider has reverse threading? been reading that people sometimes have issues breaking spider free and want to make sure I do it right. Seems like 850's may be left threaded instead of normal? any tips hints or tips would be appreciated. my first ATV and first time working on it.

LH threads and may need a little heat to soften the thread locking compound used for assembly.

You need a special tool to remove the spyder. I fabricated my own but if you don't have the tools, you better take it to the dealer and have them crack it apart for you.
