On the trail Security

What items, habits, or tricks are out there for ATV security? Sure that's why we have insurance but any tricks or items stick out?

For hunting I picture riding the ATV to a certain area and hiking in from there. Certainly most areas no truck can get to, and even then who can lift 750lbs?

Can someone just jam a flathead into the ignition? I use to lock my Yamaha raptor using the brake rotor. I will need to see if that's an easy option on my 450 sportsman.

Any good ol tricks of the trade?

I've seen wheel locks or a cable and lock will work as well. As with anything if determined enough a thief will steal anything.

Garage
if you're riding in, and then hiking, you need to ride further if where you stop is still at a spot where other's will happen upon your ride. additionally what kind of sick bass tard steals someones ride that far out in the sticks, that they know for sure is carrying some sort of weapon? I think you're worrying more about this than you should.
