I have a 2007 Sportsman EFI with 44 hours on it. I was recently out riding it and it was running fine when all of the sudden it started to shut off when I let off the throttle. The only way to keep it running is if I keep the RPMS up but as soon as I let off it would shut off. After this happened it was hard to get started and once it got started I had to keep pressure on the throttle. I took apart the throttle housing to look at the contacts in there and I unscrewed the bracket where the thumb lever comes up through. I took it off and I think a spring went flying, or something went flying, I was not sure. I got it back together and it seemed ok but I was not sure if there was a spring in there that came flying out? Any info on keeping it running and if there is a spring in the throttle housing that could have came springing out!!
