Frustration sharing

Got my brand new Sportsman XP 850 3 weeks ago.

Love it!!!!!

Hit something with the tire, dirt between rim and tire = slow leak!!!!

Nothing serious. It's just frustrating!

Gonna get it fixed friday.

Never had a flat on any ATV in my life (old crappy ATV's when I was a kid). Now I buy a brand new one and TADA!!! lol

Hey, thanks for sharing.
Before you take the tire in, you may be able to fix it yourself. Take the tire off and lay it flat on the ground. Use a sledge hammer, 6-8 lb. and hit the tire near the rim. DO NOT HIT THE RIM!!!! Work your way around the tire in this manner. You may need to lower the tire pressure. Often times by doing this the bead will clean itself out and save you a trip and some $$. It's worth a try.

Unfortunately, Slime doesn't really work for bead leaks, but it does work well for punctures.
