I've heard the best therapy for lower back issues is riding a 10 speed bike. There is a guy near me that rides his bike every day weather permitting. Guy must be 85 years old and doesn't have an atom of fat. Apparently the position bending over works the lower back , so you have better support for the spine. Maybe a Teeter Hang-up, but no way on the winch! I's suspect getting her to do a few sit-ups would be helpful. I should follow my own advice, haha!
