Two Stroker from Nova Scotia
Hello new forum friends!
I grew up with the old man having a variety of Polaris machines and now I have one of my own.
Dad's favorite rig was a blue 1991 Trail Boss 250, that he had bored out .050". Added a few teeth to the center sprocket and went an inch bigger on the tires. That thing was a screamer, and untouchable in the mud. I'll have to did up a picture of it.
He also briefly had a 400 Xplorer, but that was returned after the fresh engine grenaded on the first run.
He then had a 425 Magnum for a little while and sold that to the neighbor.
He is currently enjoying an 02 Sportsman 400 sitting on Mud Bugs.
My brother briefly had a 87 Trail Boss 250 2x4 that he rescued from the bushes in a guys yard.
My new toy is a 1990 Trail Boss 250 4x4. Fresh engine rebuild from the crank up, and a brand new set of Kenda Bear Claws. I also have a 92 Trail Boss 2x4 parts bike. I'm hoping to track down a 3 wheeled Scrambler someday too.
