Which one...?

So to make a long story short, Rogue sent me a grill (big star logo) and the mesh behind the star is really pretty crooked.
Most would say who cares itís going on a wheeler, and Iíd typically agree, but not at $160. The issue is there isnít enough mesh to unbolt and try to realign.
So I contacted them, had 4 or 5 emails back and forth. They then sent a new one. I told them I would not ship mine back until I received and inspected the new one and that I wasnít paying for another to be reimbursed once they received the old one back.
Well it paid off as the new grill came with a much smaller star.
They told me they discontinued the large star from 2 weeks ago. I told them it was BS as he could have told me that in one of many emails we sent back and forth. I then told him I was taking the original star off and mounting it on the new grill. He said I canít do that.
Well I say I can, and I will. But if I decide not to, which would you guys have:
A straight mesh grill with small logo or..
A crooked mesh grill with big logo?Which one...?-4c9c716b-ece2-4c3a-980b-4c96e78e2cd5.jpeg

Since nobody but you will ever see the mesh, and if you like the big star, keep the big one. It appears the mesh isn't straight in either one, so who would ever know the difference?

The small star mesh is a little crooked if you look close but nowhere near the large star.
Curious your thoughts on how well you think the larger star will keep the grill cleaner than the small vs whether or not the larger star will cut down on free air getting to the grill and in turn generate more heat in there.

The more blockage on the grill, the greater the chance of overheating. If that is a concern, then if you really want a decoration on your grill, the smaller on will block less airflow.

And herein lies the question.
I think Iím more concerned with the amount of mud the larger star will stop from packing in the rad fins. I think air will ultimately find its way around the star.
Iíd just like an outsiders take On this thought process as I may be just convincing myself as I like the larger star, or is it a non-issue all the way around?
Thoughts?

Well all I have to add is the bigger star blocks more mud and the few GNCC racers I've been following that ride XP Scramblers partially block off the grill to prevent the wheeler from overheating. So I'm voting big star!!

since you canít really see through the mesh to begin with i would install the smaller one to let a little more air flow thru.
