2004 Polaris sportsman 500 H.O.

Hi new to the forum. Just picked up a used 2004 sportsman 500 for free that needed some work. Just found that it is missing the plug wire and coil. Have now idea where it’s supposed to go and what wires get hooked to it any advice would be greatly appreciated, pics etc

The attached pic shows where the coil is located - not sure of the other color of wire, but one wire is brown and the other is perhaps a white wire with a black stripe or perhaps a white with black stripe - may be brown and not black - my wiring diagram is in color and the wire colors are not spelled out

2004 is odd year. Lots of changes mid year. You need to find build date for some parts. A dealer can run the VIN or there may still be a sticker on the front frame down tube that has it. The ignition coil mounts on the bulkhead under front plastic below the handlebars/pod in any case. The plug wire then runs through under to engine. Wires should be hanging right there but I don't remember colors off top of my head.
