2008 Sportsman 800 trans vs rear diff fluid

I'm sure this has been covered but I did a search and can't find what I'm looking for.

I have an '08 Soortsman 800 and want to change the trans and rear fluid. I have the large service manual and it looks like I am getting mixed information from it as to what fluid to use. I've changed both before but I don't remember this being an issue.

The manual says in the maintenance section to use "ATV angle drive fluid" for rear gear case but 2 pages later in actual section to show procedure it says to use "premium synthetic AGL gearcase fluid".

I know these things can be very picky about the correct fluid can someone please let me know the correct fluid to use?

Thank you as always.

Yep, your 2008 has a separate tranny and rear gearcase. Any good 75-90 or 80-90 gear oil will do . If using Polaris juice... Angle drive fluid.

Just to be clear... gear oil in the rear gearcase/diff. Tranny oil in the tranny.
