Sportsman 850 Thumb Throttle

Is there a way to adjust the thumb throttle lever position. I would like to rotate it so as to point a little more out along the grip instead of pointing back.

Arthritis in my thumb makes the long reach to the lever painful.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm guessing the 850 has a similar throttle set up compared to the 570. If this is the case, I don't know of an adjustment in the orientation you described.

I have one of these on my Honda Rancher: https://www.amazon.com/All-Rite-Prod...s%2C149&sr=8-2

And I have one of these on my 570: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Adjus.../dp/B006JMKEJ0

I like the Coleman a little more than the Thumbuddy. Both bend to a comfortable spot for the rider. You just need to be a little more careful with these on your thumb throttle. I would not recommend them if you ride aggressively.

This is the one I put on my Sportsman. I did not want plastic parts. It is aluminum with steel screws, The center section is adjustable for length. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
