Does anybody make a friggin true dual exhaust that will fit a 2011 sportsman 800 EFI? Does anyone make a kit that doesn't cost a grand in fabrication and labor cost for installation??
If you have any knowledge, please feel free to enlighten me because every aftermarket slip on exhaust I've heard sounds like a joke on the 800.
If you want performance gains, the best thing would be to use the older HO header pipe and ditch that junk manifold they use now. I dont know what they were thinking when they switched to that. The ports in that Y pipe are extremely small. A bottleneck for sure. There is nothing you can do for this motor for sound. I would say make it as quiet as possible for the best sound. Maybe an MBRP muffler or a standar swamp series.
Sounds like a good idea.
Can anyone help me with part number for single exhaust sp800 HO exhaust?
Just finding the duals number 1261797-489. Maybe its the same header?
Seems like that part and 1261798-489 and the partnr in my previous post should do it. The double exhaust is just linked from the silencers!
Maybe you have to shorten it a bit.
Its kind of weird that no one sells full exhaust... Maybe its a PITA to modify.
You are right, the y-pipe is and looks stupid!
