01 Sportsman 400 exhaust

hey whats up guys, i recently just bought a 2001 sportsman 400, i was looking into buying a slip on exhaust for it but could not find much exhausts for this model. i saw that the same year 500 is almost exactly the same as the 400 and has a much wider selection of exhausts to purchase. my question is will a 01 sportsman 500 slip on exhaust fit my 01 sportsman 400? thank you

Although I've never done it, the 2001 400 and 500 both take the same exhaust parts, so I cannot see any reason that it wouldn't work. You will have to watch your plug after you do it to be sure you are still jetted appropriately.
