2005 Sportsman 500 HO

Total newb here so I have a few questions. I'm looking at purchasing a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO but I just realized it carbed. Is this something I should worry about. I'll be using this between 2000 ft of elevation up to 7000 ft with most use below 5000. It has front and rear bumpers, hand guards, rear storage, GPS and mount, maxxis bighorn tires and 589 hours. Any insight on the carb would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Bob

Carbed machines from Polaris are arguably more reliable than their EFI counterparts.

Should be fine at least to 6000ft with base (from the factory) jetting.

Someone on here had a professional shop in colorado cut extra holes into the outside of the airbox for more air flow, supposedly worked great.

Luck and enjoy.
