2012 sportsman 550 muffler removal

I decided to paint my muffler today, however I'm having issues removing the muffler.

Springs are off. I just can't seem to get it off the swing/guide assembly

Am I miss something?

Its a pain in the butt, and easy to damage the donut.
Spray some lube on the hangers and the rubber bushings they sit in, it should slide mostly out the right side of the bike, but (on mine anyway) the far hanger is really too long and can take quite some force to get out.
I cut the far hanger on mine down a few inches, easy on off now.

I finally got it off. I like the idea of cutting the hanger shorter. Will do before I put it back on . My bike has a heat shield so it wouldn't clear without taking multiple bolts out and raising the rear storage. What a pain is right.
Thanks for the idea.
