Power Steering Troubles

While riding my 2017 Sportsman 850 SP about a week ago I got a check engine light, when I checked to see what it was it showed a 520230 31 code. I looked in the owner's manual and this code was not in it but some similar showed to be power steering issues. If it is a power steering issue then why didn't that light come on? Also the power steering never stopped working but I have noticed that if I hit a lot of water the steering sometimes becomes shaky until it dries out I guess. So does anyone know for sure what the code is and how to make it go away? Thanks in advance.

The service manual for my 2018 says:

Component: IC CAN Communications with EPS
Condition: EPS off line (EPS DM1 not seen)
SPN: 520230
FMI: 31

it doesn't give any info beyond that.

My 2017 570sp is in the shop for internment power steering. Polaris has a recall going for this issue and had to open a case with them to get this resolved. Sure wish dealership would have taken the high road and shared this info with me before purchase. All that I know so far from new dealership is they have checked everything and their striking zero. A lot of issues with the EPS ?
