250 top end gasket 2" o-ring question

Does anyone know where the o-ring goes? The top end gasket kit also had a head gasket, cylinder gasket, and exhaust gasket. I was thinking it may be for the intake boot but the boot I took off does not seem to require an o-ring. Any assistance is appreciated.
