I just bought a 2002 Polaris sportsman 700 twin and while going over everything I go to pull the oil dipstick and it comes out about an inch and shows little rubber grooves but doesn’t come out any further, I’m afraid I’m going to break it I’m pulling really hard on it. What should I do?

If its really stuck that bad it must be bent or something. I don't know how it could have gotten that way inside the engine??
Regardless, if stuck so bad you can't pull it out of the tube, I'd remove the two screws and clamp holding the tube in the crankcase and pull the whole thing to see what's going on.
Here's a pic.

If you do end up trying to pull it I'd throw a pair of pliers/vise-grips on the actual metal part of the dip stick.
