Going riding Friday. Where is a good place to park in the SNIRT Run area and easily see the roads and trails??? Taking the wife and kid.
Thinking about Towpath Restaurant for lunch and then we hit the trails.

My son and I went up for the Sellers ride a few weeks back. 60-70 miles worth... good time. Still haven't taken the sons wheeler up yet. Next time for sure. Most likely on 6-16. He's got a little 90cc E-TON and it's older. This is why I'm mainly asking about club trails. It might be in our best interest to not get 30 miles out with it. The machine runs well but that last thing I need is to be out 30 miles and have it break down. lol

Bringing back an old thread...We are looking to get up there riding the weekend after the snirt to avoid the people and dust from the dry season. Are trails usually open that time of year? I know last year there was more snow than usual for the snirt.

Check out the lewis county facebook page. I think typically trails open 4-1 but they are saying still 2' of snow on some trails up that way and 4-1 won't be the day this year.

Due to the amount of snow up there this years SNIRT may be a massive clusterf^%k. Can't wait! HAhahaha!

Yeah always look forward to that as a first ride , and always is kind of a cluster f__k , being a sled rider having been there this winter my take is that most of the snow will be gone , but there will be ice on alot of the trails , of course thats my opinion from what I saw during the winter.

4/20/19 snirt

I think the crowds will be smaller due to Easter weekend. I always look forward to this ride. Usually zero dust and lots of crazy people to watch. I'll be there again this year, we usually leave from Highmarket area and make our way North as far as we can, depending on crowds and trail conditions.

One of these years I will win the drawing or the grand prize. I just know it!
