one thing I did have to do is steal the rubber seal from the original polaris bulb to double up the seal on the HID bulb to make a tight fit. also make sure you plug the +/- from bike plug correct. besides that.... works great. 3x100W

I installed some of those for the low beams on my Chevy van. I like the white light better than the halogens but the beam pattern is a bit funky.

This is a different (in doors) video I shot, mainly of my night rider light bar but with the headlights on.

I can change the pattern to make it look like an ambulance or fire truck. I could be the "Trail Nazi" and pull people over and hassle them and ask to see their trail permit, not wearing a proper helmet, their bike was too loud or tell them they were going to fast! I know it kind of looks ricey but I was always a fan of Knight Rider when I was a teenager and actually had something like this on my first car. Although I got busted by the cops for it!

The original lights on my Xplorer 300 were 30/30 watts. The housings were busted and the lenses were cloudy so I had these Blazers laying around and decided to use them.

What's odd is my bike had the high and low beams built into one housing. Where I think my Magnum 400 has just the low beams in the smaller housings below the rack but the high beam is the cyclopes light mounted below the handle bars. Well actually I bought the Magnum non running so I'm just assuming that's the way the lights work.

These Blazer auxiliary lights came with 55 watt bulbs. I ran the original halogens for awhile but was concerned they might draw too much current and burn the light switch up. So I found some H3 LEDS (Ebay of course). I considered mounting an LED light bar between the two and use that as the high beam.

I have not tested these lights in the dark outside my garage yet to see if they are any better than the halogens. I thought someone had posted a link within this thread where they said the LEDs were brighter but did not produce a straight forward beam but more of a scattered beam but can't seem to find it.

From above post by turbofiat124, "I could be the "Trail Nazi" and pull people over and hassle them and ask to see their trail permit, not wearing a proper helmet, their bike was too loud or tell them they were going to fast!"

Not a good idea..... matter of fact, get caught doing that and you will need someone to bail you out of jail for impersonating a POLICE OFFICER! You will be the one hassled when you pull over an off duty officer just out riding, It wont work out very well for you!

I have 4" led spot beam pods for the low beams on my wife and son's bikes, but have high/low bulbs in the factory housings of my king quad. Low beam puts out plenty of bright white light scattered around in front of me, high adds a nice bright spot directly in front of me far enough out to see just fine, but I also have a 20" bar on my front rack. They don't throw light out ahead of me quite as far as the stock bulbs did but i can see the area directly ahead of me much clearer with the LEDs than the stock bulbs without a doubt.

Since we mostly ride in tight technical wooded trails i prefer the short range clear visibility over the slightly longer visible light range of the stock bulbs.

The video doesn't really do the side and long range light justice but shows a good difference between the high/low sides of LED headlight bulbs. I'm very happy with it but mainly swapped to them just because i hated the dirty yellow look of the stock bulbs compared to my light bar.
