It's located behind the left front tire....Never had an issue but I do have a metal one from an earlier machine to swap it out.
Yeah I agree sometimes these 58 year old eyes don't always pickup the hazards in front of me on the ATV. 90% of the time we'll be on the trails, but every so often we venture into the tall stuff to get to another trail.

Glad I could help Tony. My google Kung Fu was strong today! ;-) The only thing I'd be careful of is your temp. Covering up too much of the radiator can definitely cause overheating issues. Just something to keep an eye on.

Correct on as far as temperature goes, and like I said thanks for the link. Although I was just contacted by that site and I spoke to a guy named Mike super nice guy, he said that particular radiator guard is out of stock and we will not be producing anymore. I thought is was nice of him to call me direct and tell me that instead of some email.

He said it's for older Polaris Sportsman 2004-2010 year models and they really was not that great of a product selling even back then. He did check through his warehouse to see if they possibly had one or two hiding somewhere, but he called me back and said sorry we could not locate one to sell you, kind of bummer, but that's the way it goes. I'll come up with something.

Garage
That design looks so simple that it wouldn’t take much to either fab something yourself out of expanded metal or have a local fab shop make it for you.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. Actually while I was talking to the guy at Strongmade on the phone I almost ask him since they was not going to produce anymore of those particular Polaris 2004-2010 front guards if he could send me the dimensions or plans to them, but I didn't ask.

My neighbor is a machinist and in his shop he has the equipment to fabricate lot's of different kinds of parts or whatever. He's made me some small parts before for different projects.
