Rear Work Lights on XP

Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone has put lights on the rear of their quad. My father in law has a browning edition 09 xp with them on it and they are pretty cool. My 2010s headlights are solid red unlike the red/clear combo on his browning. I was wanting to rig up some sort of worklight on mine. Anyone got any pics or suggestions?

I am not 100% sure but my dealer says the wires are there, and all you would need it the switch and the new lenses.

The wires use to be there on the old non XP series of sportsman's but not so on the new XPs. I have added them to both my 09' and my 10'. You have to buy the switch and tailights by having the dealer order the parts for one of the XP's that has them, 09 browning, or 09 LE. Then you will need to hit Autozone or some other parts house to buy a fuseblock, wire and loom materials.

Everything was there on the '08 Sportsman that I have. The Polaris Kit included a switch and 2 light bulbs. From Polaris it was $20, from anywhere else it would be around $4.

All the wiring was there on my '08 Sportsman. All you needed was a switch and 2 bulbs. That was all there was in the Polaris kit for $20.

Ya, the wires and the correct tail lights, would have been there on an 08' Sportsman since an 08' was prior to the XPs coming out in 09'. The kit for the 08 has a switch and two bulbs in it. You will need wires and the tailights that have the clear area in them with a place for the bulbs. You can buy the kit, since it has the switch in it that you will need. But I found that you can just order the same switch from the LE model for a few bucks less, since the tail lights will come with the bulbs.

Also, I almost forgot, the tailights have a place on them that requires a plug to plug into the lights. That plug was somewhat dificut to come up with, so I had to improvise on both of mine, with bare wires and some silicone sealant direct into the plug on the tailights. Crude but it works. The actual tail light plugs still work, just had to improvise a way around not having a plug for the worklight plug portion.

I was wondering about doing this. It would be nice.
I would assume that the 2010 Touring Edition tail lights are shaped the same as the '08 Browning version's???
Time for my first mod???
