Spring Break Hatfield McCoy trip!

At this point there are 4 of us planning a trip to HMT during spring break. Arriving March 24th and leaving again March 29th. Looking at lodging options right now.

Suggestions wanted from those that have been there.

Looking at Sam's Guest House so far. Looked at Ashland Resort but to get a bed for each of us (4 guys) we need to spend close to $2000 for the 5 days. We want bed and shower, would like to be able to get to trails without having to trailer every day, but that isn't out of the question.

I dont know of sams but if you were looking in ashland area check out the crumbler houses. Its about a mile down the road to ashland resort. And you actually have to book it through ashland. We stayed there a few times and liked it alot.CLEAN. Has everything you need appliances, every utensil you need ,pots pans, washer dryer, grills with propane ,linens . Firepits with wood ,strong water pressure to wash the bikes down. I think it $300 a night for 4 people ( (we usually have 10 guys and were comfortable) $10 each additional person No matter where you stay in that area ,you wont have to trailer your bikes anywhere.

Thanks for the input! I did look at that one, but with just the 4 of us making the trip it is a bit expensive. If we had the original 8 going it would be great though. Maybe next time.

We have a cabin reserved at B and M cabin Rentals. There were good reviews, repeat customers and a decent price. We decided to just find someplace and go. Since we have never been, we will learn after we get there.

If anyone is interested in joining us we will be arriving Sunday March 24th and leaving Friday March 29th.

Let us know how you liked it.
if you want a GREAT breakfast buffet (you can ride the quads there),hit the Bramwell Main Street Eatery.
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Br...56!4d-81.31218
and on the corner of that is
cool place for a Great lunch or dinner ,The Corner Shop
You can ride your quads there and Park on the west corner (main and N river rd) lot(might be other places to park but thats where we park)
And if you dont plan on eating out you will be passing a Super walmart in Beckley WV off 64.Get what you need before you get to your lodging so you can park the trucks and forget it
