I wish to go though. and when I get green light from "wife" I can set new record loading atv 2 HMT... just like redbull team.:
1,2 -Tug Fork River [at the WV-KY stateline] , Wild horses and turtle plus outlaw overlook and Rockhouse overlook.
this time not many pictures from Buffalo Mountain [more miles thou], and Devil Anse, also just one pic from Rockhouse overlook.
trails were blast, first 2 days were dusty, then rain over the night changed the game.a lot.
Great time and company as always with Stateline'rs.
Well, march and august are off season months so less traffic on trails but also many small businesses to be closed a specially when the week starts, then Thu. they open up for "long weekends". Other than that - Devil Anse sounds like a good place to stay, but prices ain't low there / why it's worth to stay, it is between Buffalo Mountain and Rock House. and they are all connected...
Bear Wallow / nothing to miss there. and Rock house doesn't have so many rocks to face as I expected - maybe cuz we we're out of time and we hit most easy trails , but still it was a blast to ride...
So, let me ask this : who is interested and who is going next Spring ?
this might be just a bit on black top to get to trails if group decide to go those trails : Buffalo Mountain , Devil Anse and Rock House. It's my first search result so there might be some better offers... these 3 trails can be just enough to ride for 3-5 days- depends on pace. So basically many beds and rooms, close to trail / connector [ note: that last spring laws has been changed and all black tops are ATV allowed ] and I think this house looks to be best of available choices... https://www.vrbo.com/4632143ha?adultsCount=4&arrival=2020-03-22&departure=2020-04-25
Edit - don't count me in yet, IDK how's my schedule be like in March, but as always I'm interested to be there for some ride'n./
OK Tom I am blaming you for this! I just booked that house you had linked to. For the record it sleeps 15 so there is plenty of room for anyone who want to go. At this point we are reserved for 4 people at $125 per night. I think $750 or so for a total with cleaning and other fees. Arrival on Sunday the 29th and departure Thursday April 3rd. If we add more people, the cost might go up a bit, but it will still be cheaper than a hotel for sure.
Anyone that wants to go is welcome! Holler and we will plan the trip together.
Is the $125 p/n for 1 person or is there something like up to 4 people?
$125 a night + $15 per person.(4 people)
Would that be $125 or $185 +cleaning and tax?
776.98 was the total. 125 x 5 nights plus a cleaning fee, lodging tax and service fee. I would imagine that is for the first 4. After that it will increase some. So right now for 4 of us it will cost $194.25 each for the whole 5 days lodging. if we get more, even at $15 a piece the cost goes down.
its a combination of many rides we have had in past... as always , open another window on YT with your song.... the whole video was 1778MB and it took over 220GB in work folder to make it , and I run out of storage to make some more "clip[s"
:nerd I think some are from 2015or16 too, the creek at the cliffs with wife... I could get some more but I was running out of storage... also skipped that ride in KY- there were some nice shots to fit in this clip. 2bad. maybe next time when I get some more shots from trails I get myself another hard drive to have some room to work on... :nerd
