Engine dies when accelerate.

Got scrambler 500 2006
After one month siting i changed oils and variator belt. Today after 20mins on track crosing water, max 2ft deep and 15ft long. After water got back on track i drived about 100ft and then engine stoped. When the engine starts it runs, when accelerate it stops immediately.
What to look at? Is my engine broken?

My first guess would be water in the carb - drain the carb and see if that helps - easy to see water in the fuel, catch the fuel in a clear container - gas floats on water - put one drop of food color in the container - if you have water in the fuel, the food color will color the water and it will be easily visible - no water, the one drop of color will just settle to the lowest point of the container

If there's water in the carb, check for water in the fuel tank - might be wise to drain and dry the fuel tank, then fill with non-ethanol 87 or higher octane fuel

How do you break a needle? I've never seen it happen.

I've seen a couple old machines with the needle and the jet worn from vibration but never saw one break either.
