2016 Highlifter Heat shield recall

SpeedZone Motorsports in Gadsden Alabama is doing the recall.
It was delivered to them July 27th.
They let me know it was going to take a while waiting on parts from Polaris.
The recall parts came in and now they say my rear fenders need replaced as part of the recall.
They said they have to use something "Ask Polaris" to get the rear fenders approved.
My rear fenders were perfect. I have low hours and I don't ride often.
the black plastic by the brake pedal did have a bubble. I don't think that's part of the read fenders though.

Anyone have some insight? Did your recall include rear fenders?

Thanks

Nice, when I had my heat shield recall, the only thing that was melting was the black little side panel right in front of the exhaust. My exhaust was falling apart, so I had to put on a new one, went with the HMF Swamp Series, and a EJC fuel programmer. This really helped the heat problems go down. Fan doesn't come on nearly as much as it used to.

must modify

That's all that I saw melted on mine was a spot by my right ankle. New exhaust sounds nice
