Hello all, i just bought a used polaris predator 500 in really great shape but the only drawback is that under hard acceleration it pulls and swerves very hard almost hard enough to throw you in the ditch, the only other atv ive had is a 400ex so im not all used to polaris or anything, what do you all think the problem is?
First thing to check is the air pressure in the tires. A low/flat tire can cause it to pull. Also, check the brakes for seized or binding front caliper, causing it to not release. Buddy
Same as what buddy said, may sound crazy but its true about the tires, I just had the same problem on the predator I just bout checked air pressure and one side was way low, didnt look like it but was, filled it to equal and no pull what so ever.
I dont think the tires were off on pressure, i tightened up the shocks and adjusted the tow in/out and it got better but not perfect, i think with just a little bit of fine tuning ill have it down, thanks for all the info guys!
