Improvements from 2017 to 2018

Shopping for a new machine, focusing on the 570 X2 but also considering a base 570 with EPS.

I'm wanting to make sure I have captured the improvements from 2017 to 2018. Here is what I believe they are:
1) EBS engagement is less abrupt.
2) Additional heat shielding on the right side of the machine
3) Stronger axles

Any comments on this would be appreciated!

Good point.

Has the list of 2018 improvements already been discussed somewhere here? I did a pretty thorough search and didn't come up with anything.

I am having similar issues finding any info on the updates to the 2018. I currently have a 2017 and 2018 570 and just wanting to know what all is interchangeable or just upgraded. I have a specific question about the axles that I will make a new thread for.

Im not sure if there was an official post about it or not. I've seen some chatter here and there about it though. I mainly know about the headlight pod because it was the first thing that caught my eye when i was in a dealership

The hosts also typically have a press release thread that lists the specific changes for each model. There is always a thread (Typically in the general discussion section) that pertains to the next model year and what people like and don't like about the new available options.

Yeah I did find a thread discussing a wish list for 2018 but nothing with a list of actual changes.

there really wasn't a lot of changes this year because of all the recalls last year.

Here's the reason I'm asking about '17-'18 changes. I'm focusing on getting a new '18 but would also consider a carry over '17 or gently used '17.

Just trying to understand if the improvements are significant for my usage.
