Question on lock and ride cargo box

Have a base 2018 570 and looking to bring my girlfriend out with me. I was curious if I got the Lock and Ride Cargo Box - Part number 2882882, with the back rest, if there would be enough room for me and her to sit comfortably. Does anyone have this box, and if so, can you ride 2?

You don't say what state your in, but most states it is illegal to ride 2 people on a ATV factory designed for one. My state and all surrounding states you will be fined by the local Sheriff or DNR Warden. Only allowed to do this on private property here.

Check regulations where you live first....

How depressing, I would have expected it from Mn, but I thought Wi was smarter...
If that were true here, I'd have probably never gotten into quad riding, certainly inconvenient (and expensive) to transport 4 quads when 2 will do.

I don't carry passengers EVER. If I hurt myself then I'm just hurt and I'll have to deal with it. But I won't be responsible for hurting a passenger. If someone wants to ride with me they'll have to pilot their own machine and be responsible for their own safety. It is pretty sad though that a lot of folks now days think the nanny-state should protect us from ourselves and our own foolishness rather than the individual being responsible and accountable for his or her own actions and the consequences thereof. Many argue that I SHOULD have a government guardian or babysitter but I'll be damned if I'm going to willingly agree to it!!

I had the same concept of thinking as you. I tried to start with getting my wife to operate her own ATV. I bought a very nice used 2005 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 automatic for her to learn on in 2013.

She never would even try it, she loves riding ATV's, but as a passenger only, that's the reason I bought a Touring or TRV model. She had a bad experience on her cousins mini-bike when she was a young girl and broke her wrist, cousin failed to mention to her the mini-bike had no brakes at the time. So the wife is scar'd for life operating one on her own now. Personally I like being able to operate alone to not necessarily get stupid wild on the ATV, but be a little more aggressive than when she is riding as a passenger with me.

Another words I'm a whole lot more easier when she's riding with me. Good thing about it is since she loves riding the ATV so much is when it comes to getting accessories for it she's all for it. One of first things she said when we bought the Polaris Sportsman 500 HO a couple weeks ago is we got to order front and rear bumpers for it soon.
