Just bought a 2016 RZR S 1000, came with the 12" aluminum wheels and the following Dirt Commander tires.
Front: 27x9-12
Rear: 27x11-12
Getting new wheels and tires for the RZR and would like to put the Dirt Commanders on my 570 Sportsman. There has been so much confusion and argument in regards to the factory RZR wheel offset, but the best answer I'm getting so far is 4+2 (front) and 6+2 (rear).
So before I go pulling wheels off the Sportsman, will the RZR wheels/tires fit?
Auh..... How about, if you actually own both machines... just pull off both wheels from one side of each machine and tell us!! First hand experience is always the best!! :wink1:
Then report back with machine models, wheel & tire sizes and the outcome... pics are always nice too!! :fing02:

Wow, genius answer bro, thanks! Never thought of that. Actually do not have jack stands at the moment and only 1 floor jack. Not interested in changing wheels on 2 machines just to see if they fit. Just thought someone has tried it before and could give me a simple yay or nay.
My RZR is a 1000 S, not the XP. 60" wide version. 12" wheels look stupid on it, so going with 14" wheels and 30" tires. I'll just try them out, but I don't think the fronts are going to fit. From what I have found, the RZR and Sportsman wheels are the same offset and if that's so, I don't think the front shocks will clear a 1" wider tire. At least it doesn't look like it and I'm not running spacers. Oh well, I'll upgrade the little Sportsman after I finish the RZR and get it some cool new shoes too.
Thought we were here to share experience and help each other out...guess not!
Spent almost 2 hours of potential riding time trying out the RZR wheels on the Sportsman and the fronts aren't going to work. Almost rubbing the shocks, less than an 1/8" clearance.
That is what we are here for. However, no one gets paid to be on here and not everyone that is a member spends all their free time here waiting for their moment of glory in answering someone's call for help.
While you spent 2 hours of potential ride time finding out that it wont work, you shared first-hand experience, not hearsay, and helped the forum community and the next guy who may have the same question
I think some one else tried. Are these the same wheels that come on a RZR S 1000? I was going to look for a set as well, to try on my 2013 RZR 800 or 2004 Sportsman. RZR wheels have less offset than Sportsman wheels. At least the ones on my 800 did. They were a little more towards the inside.
Uhm, I know it's over, but you could have just taken off one wheel, and tried it all around t on the Sportsman, UNLESS, the wheels have different offsets front to rear....
But as others have said, you are the one to have helped others, you tried, and told us you need spacers, excellent.
