2018 xp1000 touring stalls when fully turned right.

Hello everyone. I have an 18 xp1000 touring with about 20 hrs on it, that will stall when it is fully turned to the right only . It will stall whether the bike is in motion or not. I've looked for pinched wires, or wires that may be pulled tight when turning, but everything seems ok. Has anyone come across this before or have any suggestion. I know I can bring it back to the dealer, but I live a far distance away and would prefer not if it's a simple fix. Thanks.

If you are using a key chain or have anything dangling from the key get rid of it. The ignition locks are weak and turn off easily if you have a key chain dragging on the tank or anything else. Sometimes just the weight of whats on the key chain swinging around can move the lock enough to shut you down.

Have you looked at and adjusted the throttle?(The adjuster is about 6" down from the throttle) Open the throttle cover and see if while turning the handlebars it closes the gap.
Check out this video @ the 4:30 mark he talks about staleing

Yep, didn't think about that Duse. That's something easy you might want to check before taking it in OP.

Thought so. So I would double check all those wires again. Not only for stretch but for wear from turning. Other then that I would disconnect the EPS and turn the bars to see if the machine dies. If it doesn't I would look into a high electrical draw from the power steering unit.

Well I feel silly. The lanyard my key was on was ever so slightly tugging at full turn. Fyi my 18 touring has a throttle cable. Maybe the 1up's have drive by wire perhaps? Thanks guys I appreciate the suggestion and saving me a trip to the dealer haha.
