I tried a gates extreem. I didn't really like it as well as the stock. Went back to stock. They last just as long or longer.

The only belts I have gone through is when the one way bearing seizes to the shaft and grinds away the inside of the belt.

I have the epi extreme. So far so good. The one way bearing was going bad so just put on a 2 way. That should help the belt last even longer now.

What brand of 2 way bearing did you get ?
FYI I been using a Gates C12 on my 1000XP and it's doing good.

Two Way Bearing .... https://www.ebay.com/itm/3514609-PRI...9/283389791182

This also fits the 1000. I put it in my 1000 and my 850

I too am shopping for a new belt. Always heard use stock belts but man are they expensive. Had a buddy request the Gates carbon fiber. Not sure what I’m buying yet.
