Front diff cover

How many of you have upgraded the front diff cover? I was going to wait until the warranty was up but now the shaft seal is leaking and I know theyíll just say itís a wear item. Since itís apart for other maintenance I figure no time like the present. Curious if you replaced the cover without removing the diff?

Thanks. I understand why itís done. Iíve seen mixed reviews lately on it. Some people have had the cecco cover fail and Iím curious if thatís just a freak case or if there are more.

Quickest way to tell is see if the bolted flame is about 1/4Ē thick or if itís thicker. I know they had an upgrade available for the high lifters. Not sure if they did it on the regular ones or not.

from what i heard they are thicker on 2018 and newer but not made from billet aluminum which is better for this cover.

I never heard anything negative about Cecco Racing,
did u see that on facebook, ? i'm not on there yet, lol
There is also Hd ATV Gear that sells covers with good reviews , i never heard anything bad about them either,
There is also another company called CustomMotoQuad, highlifter guys use this brand up here and i have not heard anything bad either.
If the bearing lets go or the pinion gears break probably any cover will break . !

I have a 2017 xp 1000. Just did 100 hr service and went with custom motoquad plate. Ive always wanted to correct a possible issue. $150 is cheaper than whole diff at $1500 us. I didnthave to take bolts out of diff. It bolted right in
