Wow,,crickets are even making noise ..discovered one of my fan blades broke off..got stuck between fan and radiator... preventing fan from turning...nothing got in there to break fan..sticks,,etc..just hit a water hole too fast I guess. .while fan was on .fan shroud is not as easy to take out as other machines I've had ..it's snapped onto rad...and 2 bolts..need to remove plastic..to get it off ..p.i.t.a
Still under warranty..but dealer says..doubt it will be warrantied...$250.00 for new fan...I'm going outside now to kick a tree. .

Garage
One of my fans on my HL1000 crapped out quite a while back, the Polaris version is way expensive. I found a Spall (?) fan on eBay that has worked great, I slather lots of water dispersing lube on them now, seems to help.

must modify

Here's a good looking used one from Canada for $100 less than new camlaw.

Originally called dealer about broken fan .he wasn't sure if it would be warrantied...so being impatient I started taking it out myself ..figured I'd just buy one...but he called me..told me Polaris would warranty it. So thanks to dealer and Polaris for taking care of the issue. I lucked out. When blade broke. Didn't cause much damage to radiator..just couple of fins pushed over. But these radiators list for $650.00,,,,little shocked. .so need to watch hitting water or mud when fan is engaged. I've read to install off/ on switch for fan...but I'm still under warranty
