Just completed the first service on the hunter. I changed all the fluids and greased all the fittings I have 250 miles as of right now. Getting ready for another trip to northern maine next weekend. Everything looked pretty normal but the rear Differential did have a lot of fines on the drain plug a bit more than the front diff and the transmission, I wonder if that is the cause all the gear noise I've been hearing. I mentioned it to my salesman last time I went to the dealer he said not to worry about it it's under warranty. He did say that it could be the primary the've seen them grooved form not using low range when towing and or bad casting, but I peaked in there not signs of wear blew out the clutch and reassembled it. Has anyone else noticed essesvie fines in the rear differential on the first service more then gear box or front diff?
