I bought a 2017 450 HO back in Feb 2017 for $3,999.99 +TTL = $4.5K OTD for my 12 year old daughter. Coming from a 2011 Polaris Sportsman 90cc, the 450 is perfect for her. I have a 2017 570 EPS and I love it too. I like the fact that getting accessories for the 450 and 570 are pretty much the same. Both bikes does what we need it to do.

Wow. Love the pics. That price on the 450 is unreal. Iíd snag one in a heartbeat at that price.

New 450 utility edition and new to the forum!

I purchased a 2017 ghost grey 450 utility edition in November and love it! I use it to plow, a road.. not a driveway, elk hunting, trail riding and plenty of work at my home. Itís stable, plenty of power ( last atv was a 600 Yamaha grizzly), it rides well and handles weight while working. I love the look of it and think it performs far beyond most atvís that cost thousands more. Iíve had an issue or two with the Polaris glacier plow system, but nothing a beer and a tool kit couldnít fix. My sportsman is about to get an led lightbar... any suggestions?

How did you get the 2017 in the ghost grey, thought they were all maroon. Jealous, I want the grey. I mounted a small 7 inch light bar inside the grill area of mine. https://www.polarisatvforums.com/foru...y-edition.html

To be honest, they are not aggressive, they ride smooth and I have not had any issues with traction. Granted I do not put my quad in places it does not belong. That is not what I bought it for. Been there done that with another quad, Suzuki 500, stuck it with stock tires to the fenders, hour walk later because the mud ripped the winch wire off, I returned to find my quad with the handle bars barely sticking up out of the mud. I purchase a set of Mudzillas and it would climb a tree but the low end ride was rough on you.

I did have one concern with it. Seems to have some noise in the drive train. It makes a clunking type noise when accelerating then letting of the throttle. Also can make the same noise when in high gear and pushing the atv forward and back. Checked all fluids and they are full.

Does your machine make this noise?
Wow, probably should take it back and let them check it out.

Still an awesome quad, there is a heat shield recall that I have not done yet.
We rode 48 miles the other day, wife is pregnant, 24 weeks and she did not complain about the ride. She was very comfortable on the back. But we just bought me a 2003 Yamaha 350 Warrior, pretty soon we will not be able to ride double. The quad is in great shape, needed a battery, starter and ignition coil, max 125.00 worth of parts. But we bought the quad for 500.00 so still a good deal. Coil went out while I was riding it, 30 minutes of fun.

I am not impressed with the factory battery, dead after 9 months. Replaced with a gel battery from Mighty Max
49.00 shipped
