Display not showing N or H

Hello I have a 2004.5 Polaris Sportsman 500ho and recently the display stopped showing N or H. When I go into where neutral should be nothing comes up on the display and when I go into high it just shows it as low. If anyone has any ideas as how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

I had an issue like that with my 04 ATP. I found the spring was disconnected from Rear brake pedal. I hooked it back up and no more issues.

What spring do you mean? The only spring I can see is one connecting the end of the foot brake to a piston coming out of the transmission. Display not showing N or H-img_0592.jpg
