Question Exhaust

I read somewhere that I could drill a 3/4" to 1" hole in the very back of my exhaust and it would increase my horsepower. I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500EFI. Would this mess with the EFI as far as back pressure goes, or would I be good to go with that?

Just sound. No power.

They run rich already, won't need to worry about efi mapping.
