hey guys i got a 2000 trailboss 325. im having a problem with my tranny. when i put in forward give it gas then let off u can hear the chain inside start to skip. wont do it in reverse or if u keep on the throttle. well i pulled the tranny out took it apart and when i got inside the chain was off the sprocket laying against the case. so i put it back on and spun the gears by hand and i can watch the chain fall off again. i put it back on and the chain has about 3/4 to an inch of play is this normal or no? i took it to my local dealer i asked him if they stretch and he said very rarely? didnt have the chain on it though should have shown him but he said everything looks good like sprockets. so should i just replace the chain??
:dunno:
are there marks on the case from where the chain could have been slapping against it?
