History
Got it used in April 2013. It ran great for about 3 months, then quit.
Polaris dealer said they couldn't clean the carb because their strongest solvent wouldn't touch it. They wanted to replace it for $400. I cleaned it with off-the-shelf carb cleaner!
Different Polaris dealer said it was obviously full of water for a long time because the top of the piston was rusty. Remember that it ran for 3 months just one month ago! I cleaned the top of the piston with carb cleaner!!
I finally found the intake valve bent and replaced it. Replaced plugged fuel lines. Cleaned carb after a friend showed me how. It runs great again!
I no longer trust Polaris dealers and I do all of my work myself!
