Hey, I have an Predator 500 and it won't go into Neutral while the engine is running, but it has no problem going into neutral while the engine is not running. I am somewhat new to ATV's but I am mechanically inclined. I just purchased this quad for a good deal and this seems to be the only problem with it. What might be the problem and is there an easy way to fix this. Thank in advance for any input.

I tried to adjust the clutch, just in case it was not disengaging all the way but that did not solve the problem. Thanks

Brett

o5 500 sportmans you have to engage the foot brake to go into nuetral from low or reverse .it might not be the case with the predator but easy enough to try.

What do you want to be in Neutral for unless the bike isn't running?? Haha! J/K. Could be your shifter linkage is a little too tight or your clutch is starting to go. How many hours do you have on it??
