Might be corrosion in the bulbs socket.
03 Sportsman 400 headlight issue
I recently acquired an 03 Sportsman 400 and I am having issues with the headlights. The headlights will turn on and stay on for about 45 seconds to a minute and then they will turn off. Wait about 30 seconds and they will turn back on. The battery light will flash sometimes, but I have a brand new battery and the stator is charging at 14.6v. Anyone ever ran into this issue before?

Most likely a faulty connection at the LH handlebar switch assy
It’s really strange, does the same thing on high and low beam. I will check that connection to be sure.Most likely a faulty connection at the LH handlebar switch assy
Is it doing this same cycle continuosly ?
I just figured it out. When the lights cut off I squeezed the circuit breaker bag and then they came back on. Looks like I’ll be replacing the breaker.
That's what I was getting towards , the breaker was tripping and auto-resetting , go to any auto parts store and get another 20 amp breaker ...
