My 700 efi starts and idles for 45 seconds and dies. I turn the key off then on and it runs 45 seconds and dies over and over again and again. Maintenance is 100 percent. Help!

sounds like a fuel pump issue. why you ask. well sounds like the pump runs for the 8sec when the key is first turned on. then thepump shuts off, and the pressure runs out in the line, and the wheeler shuts off. least that what the problem sounds like.

It does sound like pump and I assume you have changed the fuel filter.

Any check engine codes?

My 04 had issues early on with the T-BAP connector but she has been solid for years after the kit was released to fix that. Before that issue was known the dealer swapped out the tank/pump in an effort to fix problem.

• Short Circuit to battery
