I am working on an 05 Polaris Sportsman 500.It keeps blinking battery light at high RPMs.I changed out battery ,voltage regulator cleaned all ground connections and splices.I hear that there may be a circut breaker located in system but have not located it.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you get an OEM regulator or after market? I've seen a lot of aftermarket ones bad right out of the box.

OEM .It will work when I work with the splices where the splice connectors are under the handlebar cover.When I shut it down and start it again it goes rigt back to overcharging.

Odd. Maybe a bad splice?

I just kept reading the trials and errors in these posts and found it. Bad stator dead short to ground. Had water in compartment tried blowing out but still shorted .Will get new stator. Thanks to all who post threads with info and response. David
