So my 2005 Sportsman 400 ate it's second stator so far in the time that I have owned it.
Battery light started blinking on me and slowly got worse and worse until it would blink at idle. Checked the three charging legs with a multi-meter and all 3 had continuity to ground. Anyone know if these things are prone to eating stators? gets kind of expensive at $200 every two years...
