06 polaris sportsman 700 efi wont start

i have been gone for a couple years and my dad has had my quad. he said the quad was running fine then one day he parked it and the next day went to start it all it would do is turn over. i sparyed starting fuild in the air box and it fired briefly. thought it was a fuel problem, but when i went to mess with it today nothing happened. i pulled the plugs and had no spark. so i looked at the coil, there looks like there is four wires coming out of the loom to the coil, but the plug on the coil has three wires that are pluged in. is there four wires in the loom? and if so is it a ground or something else? do anyone have any ideas, im home on leave for a short period of time and would like to ride my quad.
