My 2009 Trailboss 330 just died on me. Ran fine one second and died the next. No lights or power. At first look, I assumed a battery issue. We put a working battery on it and it made zero difference. I brought it to a repair guy who is a former Polaris Certified Technician. He has hiw own business now so he works on everything. He looked at it, verified that the battery was fine and recommended that I replace the Power Control Module. So I spent $200+ for the part and it did not make a difference. My repair guy sort of gave up from there. I am open to suggestions. The two local Polaris Dealers have poor service reputations so I am reluctant to utilize their skills. I am just hoping that someone on this forum may have some insight and may offer a suggestion. Thanks for your assistance in advance.
Other possibilities include a bad kill switch or ignition switch. And don't forget to check the wiring, especially along the steering stem where it moves a lot or tends to get rubbed.
Finally, you wouldn't be the first person to hit the kill switch without realizing it so make sure it's on as well.

I have not tested every individual possibility. but nothing comes on, no lights, no shift position light, nothing at all. I have inspected the wiring and found one of the wires in the ignition plug to be broken. I repaired this with solder and tested it for continuity and it did nothing to resolve the issue. A wiring diagram would be a blessing.
You can usually download a factory manual from tradebit.com for less than $10. Search there for your model and year. I've bought three with no issues and they have been really high resolution, quality .pdf files.
Thanks Stew. I just took your advice and was pleasantly surprised by the detail in the manual. I hope this points me in right direction. I am looking forward to printing it out and getting to work on Saturday.
Sounds like a breaker to me. Look from your battery, should be close by.
