I'm looking to get more out of my 2012 sportsman 800 on the drag strip! It runs great but I would like more bottom end without sacrificing top end if possible. I like free and cheap mods. Will clutch spring changes make much difference. I also ride w/ 28" tires when I trail ride so I want to pull them pretty good as well. I notice now that I hit the rev limiter with stock tires on, that is why I was thinking of clutch kit or just springs, or maybe just weights. Also where is the cheapest place to get tools for installing clutch parts on Polaris 800 and 850 xp (friends bike). Thanks!

Let the slamming begin!!!!! You need to decide what you want the quad to do .You can't have both things. I've never seen a drag tractor that still is a tractor. And I've never seen a top fuel F/C at the grocery store. Your gonna loose on one end or the other. Don't really know where to go here. But I have good points for eigther side.
