So the original Carb was lost when I bought the quad, so I went to my local store (JMC) and they advised me that the Mikuni Round Slide VM Series Carburetor 30mm Bore VM30-83, was the direct replacement for that machine..... I bought 2. (I have two of these second one still needs work)

Well the carb was much larger and was jetted as follows:
Main Jet : 250
Pilot Jet : 40

Those jets were much bigger than the stock carb:
Main Jet 155
Pilot Jet 30

So... I put the old jets in the new carb...

Also I was forced to use a different air-filter based on the size of the carb so I bought a Uni Filter 2-stage Angle Pod Filter.


THE ISSUE:

#1 I cannot start the quad without starting fluid.
#2 I cannot get a proper idle by adjusting idle/air screws.
#3 After 15 minutes of riding bike dies (presumably flooded because of air-filter smells of gas....
#4 Spark Plug is fowled


WHAT IVE TRIED/DONE:
New top end
new CDI / SOLENOID \ BOOT
Lowered needle one tooth in carb to see if it helped (couldn't get bike to start)
New Plug )generally fires right up with starting fluid then fouls out shortly after.

WHAT I NEED:

I believe this is solos a Carb and Air issue, i am curious if anyone has a similar setup on a 94 trail boss and could share their jetting information or if someone knowledgeable can push me in the right direction.. after awhile changing plugs and paying for starter fluid becomes a hassle.
