I bought this quad and repainted it and put it back together , now the idle is way 2 high , being a 2 cycle I cant find any adjustments on the cables , does any one now how I can lower the idle I am at a loss , thanks guys
There is an adjustment on the top of the carb and there should be an adjusting point by the throttle lever unless it is an aftermarket cable. You can also lower the idle by adjusting the idle screw on the right hand side of the carb.
Thanks Dirty Dawg, it is an after market cable and the problem is the top mount cable is broke at the top of the carb and wont seat properly causing the rpm jump . I just orderd a factory cable , in 10 days I will be back up safely riding thanks
