Here are some pics. It pushes down on two very small wires and after looking closely without a magnifying glass they look bent. I did check for volts and that’s good.

By chance, is that bulb the same as the bulb in the speedo?

Uhh... the blue part still in the socket is the bottom part of the bulb.

So that looked soldered on there in the back but I see now it may actually unscrew in the back separate from the part that’s soldered, and no wonder it was so hard to pull the bulb out!!

If I'm not mistaken I think it should turn about 1/8 turn to the right and pull out from the back as shown in your last pic.

I agree with polman, but I have never replaced one and have no clue of a replacement part number

Ty and yes it did come right out with a slight counter clockwise turn and pulled out from the back! Ty gents I really appreciate the quick responses
